OXNARD, Calif. – URSUS, a leading Italian bicycle and automotive component manufacturer, has introduced its complete line of top quality, performance bicycle road wheels to the U.S. market, imported exclusively by Albabici, announced Albabici President Gianluca Caliari.

The complete line of URSUS road wheels was on display at the recent Interbike trade show in Las Vegas, where their quality construction and lightweight design caught the attention of the cycling press and bike dealers alike.

Albabici is importing seven URSUS road wheels: carbon clinchers – the Miura C58, the Miura CB58 and Miura CB38; two carbon tubulars – Miura T24 and Gauro Carbon disk; and two alloy clinchers – Hybrida and the Guará aluminum. www.albabici.com/ursus/ursus-mp.htm 

Miura CB58 Carbon Clincher  

The most successful URSUS wheels set. Features 58mm deep aerodynamic 3K carbon monocoque rims, aluminum braking surface. Hubs are a URSUS forged ERGAL alloy with sealed ball bearings and AL 7075 axles; cassette body CNC-machined from ERGAL 7075 aluminum. Spokes: front – 20 INOX flat black; rear - 24 INOX flat black. Like the C58, the CB58's convex rim reduces aerodynamic drag to sustain maintain high speeds. Weight: Front 835g, rear 1005g. MSRP: $2,150
Miura CB38 Carbon Clincher 

Suitable for any conditions, a compromise between aerodynamic, weight and durability. The Miura CB38 features 38mm-deep 3K carbon monocoque rims with aluminum braking surface. Hubs are URSUS forged ERGAL alloy with sealed ball bearings and AL 7075 axles; cassette body CNC-machined from ERGAL 7075 aluminum. Pokes: front – 20 INOX flat black; rear - 24 INOX flat black. The CB38s are engineered for rough roads and rugged weather. Weight: Front 740g, rear 895g. MSRP: $2,000.

Miura C58 Carbon Clincher

Features 58mm deep, convex aerodynamic carbon monocoque rim with aluminum braking surface. Hubs are URSUS carbon-alloy with sealed ball bearings and AL 7075 axles; cassette body CNC-machined from ERGAL 7075 aluminum. Spokes: front – 20 Sapim CX-SPRINT flat; rear - 24 Sapim CX-SPRINT flat. The convex rim reduces aerodynamic drag, allowing the rider to maintain high speeds. Weight: Front 830g, rear 970g. MSRP: $2,200 - includes URSUS cork brake pads and URSUS skewers.

Miura T24 Carbon Tubular

A climbers delight, the Miura T24 tubular encourages quick accelerations on the steepest slopes. The Miura T24 features 24mm-deep 3K carbon monocoque rims, URSUS forged ERGAL alloy hubs with sealed ball bearings and AL 7075 axles; cassette body is CNC-machined from ERGAL 7075 aluminum. Spokes: front – 20 Sapim CX-RAY flat; rear - 24 Sapim CX-RAY flat. Weight: Front 520g, rear 630g. MSRP:$3,500 - includes URSUS cork brake pads and URSUS skewers.

Gauro Carbon Tubular Disc 

Time trialists, triathletes and velodrome racers rejoice! The URSUS Gauro Carbon Disc tubular will satisfy your need for speed. It features a multilayer, 100-percent carbon monocoque rim, a URSUS forged carbon-alloy hub, ERGAL 7075 aluminum cassette body, sealed ball bearings and AL 7075 axle. It's dazzling graphics are available in three colors, green, white or red. Weight: 1010g. MSRP:$3,000 - includes URSUS skewer.

Hybrida Alloy Clincher

An every-day alloy clincher, the URSUS Hybrida features 24mm deep aluminum rims spinning on URSUS ERGAL 7075 forged hubs and axles; the cassette body is also CNC-machined from ERGAL 7075. SKF over-sized, high-precision bearings deliver a very low rolling resistance. Spokes: front – 20 Sapim CX-RAY flat; rear - 24 Sapim CX-RAY flat. Weight: Front 700g, rear 865g. Guará Alloy Clincher

A stylish, white-painted alloy wheel, the URSUS Guará features 24mm deep aluminum rims rolling on URSUS ERGAL 7075 forged hubs and axles; the cassette body is also CNC-machined from ERGAL 7075. SKF over-sized, high-precision bearings deliver a very low rolling resistance. Spokes: front – 20 Sapim CX-RAY flat; rear - 24 Sapim CX-RAY flat. Weight: Front 735g, rear 890g. All URSUS wheels are compatible with Shimano HG 10 and HG 8/9 speed, Campagnolo 9/10/11 speed, and SRAM.
