is now widely recognized and we have decided that this year
the professional team will focus on the core color scheme;
the black and white kit with the iconic blue line. The
special edition Sky Rainforest Rescue kit - with the
alternative green color scheme - will not be worn by the
professional team at this year's Tour de France.
Whilst this
decision puts the greatest attention on the traditional kit,
and helps to simplify logistics considerably for the
professional team, we do understand this could influence
your retail strategy.
A full range of
replica Team Sky kit will still be available to the public -
including both the traditional blue and alternative green
color variants - and we are sure that Team Sky kit will
prove popular with current and new followers of the team.
However, whilst
we will find ways to support the Sky Rainforest Rescue kit,
it is the primary blue theme that will be applied
consistently across the team branding on the road.
