Felipe is a 25 year old who moved from Brazil to the USA six years ago as part of an Olympic Project.  He has since drifted away from Olympic  aspirations, and is now focused on Ironman distance racing. Just recently, he completed the Ironman Louisville. After moving to the USA, Felipe has won many races, including the USA Junior Elite World Championships Qualifier and the Central Florida Series (as the youngest professional ever to win the series). He also finished 2nd at the prestigious Sky Bank Triathlon in Cleveland, as well as a wire to wire win at the MiamiMan Half IronMan (powered by a 2:13 bike ride, 8 minutes in arrears of the next guy in T2).  Felipe also was chosen to represent Brazil at the Pan American Long Distance Championships, and in 2006 alone, won 6 races, setting 4 new course records.
