Albabici and
Nalini are pleased to announce their sponsorship of professional
football player Quentin Jammer, from the San Diego
Chargers. Quentin Jammer
was a first round draft pick (5th overall) by the Chargers in the
2002 NFL draft after a stellar career as
a Longhorn. He was born in Bay City, Texas, and
played for Angleton High School, in
Angleton, Texas. Quentin was a two-time all-district defensive
back and quarterback for the Wildcats. He was also the district's
defensive MVP his senior season. Jammer was also a letter winner
in track and field and ran the 100 and 200 meters, and competed
in the long jump. Quentin stayed in Texas for his
collegiate career, and continued to earn accolades as a
defensive back for the Longhorns. He was an unanimous
All-America and All-Big 12 Conference first-team selection as
a senior. Jammer was also the first player in school
history to be named a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, which
is given to the nation's top defensive back. He majored in
ethnic studies at the University of Texas. His hobbies
include playing video games and reading magazines.
