Winter Apparel
If you have not been
following the progress of our team via our website, things have
been going extremely well. I personally love the Grand Prix
shoes that you provided. I entered a 200 mile solo event in July
which I finished in just over 12 hours and the shoes were
extremely comfortable. I have heard similar responses from other
members of the team. We have been winning local crits, TT's and
hill climbs along with a 3rd place finish in the local 24 hour
mountain bike event. It has been a tough summer, but the tour of
Anchorage is coming up and we are hoping for continued success
in that event as well.
Thank you for your
assistance with our project.

Subject: Season Status
I thought you, as sponsors and
friends of the bike team, would be interested in this. One of our riders, Yrjo
has collated the season so far in a handy spreadsheet. For updates that are more
current and event driven, check out the team website at
www.fishcycling.com and the blog of one of our riders at

Team
Sponsors,
The team has a
successful early season, earning no less than 6 victories to
date with many more planned. In the early parts of the season we
have showed our versatility by winning hilly road races,
criteriums, time trials, and hill climbs, in various divisions
and age classifications. We plan on continuing this trend
throughout the rest of the season that runs through the first
week of September. We are placing some emphasis on the
importance of the
Fireweed 400 , and plan on having the team represented in
various divisions of that race. The preliminary plan is to have
riders participate in the 200 mile road race, 200 mile solo
non-drafting division, and the 200 mile team relay divisions.
I, as team manager,
feel like our greatest accomplishment thus far has been achieved
far earlier in the season than anticipated. It has been a great
accomplishment of the team to become a recognized and known
fixture in the Anchorage cycling community. We have emerged from
the veil of obscurity and our presence and strength as a team
are recognized by the general racing public within the racing
community. It is that brand recognition that has been so
difficult to achieve and that we have done so in one and a half
seasons is something that makes me proud of what we have
accomplished.

updates on the team check the website listed below.
Thanks
