Team TIBCO. Team TIBCO is a women’s professional
cycling team based in Silicon Valley that is rapidly becoming
number one in the country. The team is directed by former
Olympian and Bronze World Medalist, Linda Jackson, and is
focused on becoming the top team in the world while developing
Olympic Contenders for 2012 & 2016.
Team TIBCO is a
women’s professional cycling team composed of some of the top
riders in the world. The team is a grassroots organization that
started from the ground up three years ago with unknown talent
and big dreams. It has now become one of the top teams in the US
and boasts the National Road, Criterium and Junior Time Trial
Champions. We are also proud to have had our first
Olympian compete in Beijing. Linda Jackson started the team in
2006. She has used her cycling background (Olympian/pro-cyclist)
to find, recruit and develop talent, and her business background
(former Investment Banker and consultant) to build this team
like a start-up. They have had tremendous success and have even
bigger dreams ahead. The team's goal is to be the top team in
the world and to develop the next crop of Olympic and World
Champions. The tea's short-term focus is the 2012 Olympic Games
in London.
