and Sci'Con are pleased to announce their sponsorship of
Team TIBCO. The team
is now expanding its focus to national level competition with
the goal of developing the next generation of Olympic hopefuls.
The team has obtained new sponsorship from several leading
Silicon Valley firms to help it achieve its expanded racing
program. The team recently announced the signing of TIBCO
Software as its new title sponsor.
The team's focus will include the California NRC
races and the Women's Prestige Series. The team has both Elite
and Development squads. Elite team riders include Eryn Hanna,
Jenni Tafoya and Julie Adams. New additions to the Elite team
include Amy Mackey, Brooke Miller (2005 Collegiate Road Race
Champion), Jamie Crawford and Tracey Ford. Development team
riders include Alexis Alexander, Brianne Burgess, Elizabeth
Wistrom, Holly Harris, Katie Behroozi, Sarah Beaver and Victoria
Vallstrom.
Managed by 1996 Bay Area Olympian, Linda
Jackson, the team is ready to begin their quest to become a top National level
team. "Our immediate goal is to provide the Elite riders with the experience of
racing in National Calendar Races, and to provide a rich learning environment
for the development riders", Jackson said. "Next season we will be recruiting
additional racers to the team to complement our existing roster" she added.
