Team Type 1 has expanded to include a women's professional team, a triathlon team, a development team and a second squad for RAAM ("Team Type 2").
Team Type 1 Women's Professional Team

The Team Type 1 Professional Women's Team is a top-performing competitive group of international athletes with Type 1 diabetes who strive to inspire other women to manage and control their diabetes.

   Elite TEAM TYPE 1

The Team Type 1 Elite Team is where it all started. The team is comprised of some of the finest amateur cyclists in the U.S. The team's focus is the epic Race Across America, which it has won twice in record breaking time. Each member of the Elite Team has Type 1 diabetes.

Team Type 1 Development Team

The Team Type 1 Development Team is a top-performing competitive group of international athletes with Type 1 diabetes who are between the ages of 17 and 24. The team strives to inspire young people to manage and control their diabetes.

   Triathlete TEAM TYPE 1

The Team Type 1 Triathlon Team is comprised of some of the finest amateur triathletes in the U.S. The team competes in the most competitive triathlons in the U.S. Each member of the Triathlon Team has Type 1 diabetes.
